Job Description
KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. Job Title: Sports Tutor Location: Rotherham Type: Part Time, 2.5 days per week (Wednesday / Thursday / Friday) Salary: £22,000 (pro rata to £12,189) Package: Excellent Holiday Entitlement, Mileage + Much More! KM are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of a growing Provider who are looking to appoint a Tutor to deliver a Btec qualification in Sport at Level 3, to Study Programme learners aged 16-19 years. Duties: * Deliver quality training and support learners through the Level 3 Sport Btec and embed Functional Skills at level 2. (Prior Functional Skills delivery experience is not essential as training can be provided) - also support learners when required through a Fitness Btec at Level 2 (training/up-skilling can be provided in this vocation if required) * The successful candidate will be flexible with their delivery methods and be able to adapt quickly to learners needs and overcome barriers to learning. * The successful candidate must be engaging and able to demonstrate energy and passion to motivate / train clients in order to help them realise their potential. Essential Criteria: * Must hold a level 3 Sports qualification as a minimum * Ideally hold a level 3 teaching qualification such as PTLLS * Strong classroom management experience * Must hold experience of delivering Sports Training to young people * Experience of motivating and engaging learners aged 16+ with barriers to learning * Occupational competency within any of the following; Sports coaching, Fitness training and programming, Sports Psychology, Sport Nutrition, Athlete lifestyle, Technical and tactical skills in sport Please note: KM Recruitment receive a high number of applications for each role advertised and although we would like to we are not always able to deliver feedback to unsuccessful candidates.
