Overview
Staffline is recruiting for an FLT Driver to work at our client's busy distribution centre based at East Midlands Gateway, Kegworth, Derby. The rate of pay is £11.00 per hour and the hours are: 6am to 6pm 6pm to 6am Experience in a similar role is required to be successful in this position. Your time at work As an FLT Driver at this site, your duties will include but are not limited to: Monitoring the flow of the product to identify stoppages/blockages and investigating the cause to determine the most appropriate resolution Operating MHE in line with training and ensuring that all safety processes and procedures are followed on every occasion Regularly completing safety checks and reporting any accidents/damages immediately Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and carrying out other computer-based tasks Contributing to continuous improvement with projects and ideas As well as the above, you'll be sure to work in a safe manner, observing all trained Safe System of Work and Standard Operating Procedures. Our perfect worker Our perfect FLT Driver has experience in a similar role and can work well individually or as part of a team. You'll be heavily customer orientated and will have the ability to prioritise your tasks with ease. You will be digitally minded and will have a flexible approach to work, while being adaptable to change. You'll have a keen eye for detail and will be able to work on your initiative with ease. Experience in a similar role is required. What we require of you We need our workers to hold a valid Forklift Truck Certificate (Reach or Counterbalance).
