Installation and Validation Engineer
Overview
VQ Life Sciences have a requirement for a Permanent Installation and Validation Engineer to cover the UK. This is a national role for a company based in London so occasional visits to office will be required. Department Interface Validation, Quality Line Manager Service Manager Aim of the role The position is part of a team that is responsible for carrying out installation, Calibration and Validation service works inline with documentation associated with the quality management system. To effectively and accurately carry out service works and documentation through accurate planning and organisation. Role Responsibilities Main Role Responsibilities: · Carrying out planned UKAS & traceable calibration of customers equipment on site. · Conducting service works directly relating to temperature mapping. · Carry out Installation of Monitoring System at customer sites. · Producing Validation documentation for Services provided according to QMS and ISO guidelines · Producing Certificates for Services provided according to QMS and ISO guidelines · Management and control of service equipment ensuring equipment is maintained, checked and returned. · Completing on-site system commissioning & product training · Prioritisation of time management to ensure service works are completed in a timely manner. · Preparation and execution of paperwork for service and calibration works. · Providing on site customer support, technical advice and troubleshooting where necessary. · Site contact for customers regarding questions about maintenance and calibrations. General Role Responsibilities: · Managing and executing assigned service works efficiently. · Carry out Certifications and Validation work · Planning travelling to customer sites to arrive in a timely manner. · Managing and controlling calibration and test equipment as required. · Accurately completing service paperwork as required. · Archiving of calibration data within the company ERP. · Assisting team members as required.
