Overview

Our client is a £100m turnover establishment, steeped in history providing professional services to people across the globe. They now have a 12 month FTC requirement for a Project Manager to manage and work in partnership with stakeholders across different functions. The Project Manager will be creative and innovative, taking ownership of projects and work streams within the L&D team, you will ensure that projects are managed effectively, delivered on time, in budget, and to scope. You will use best practice project management techniques alongside approved organisation methods to implement appropriate business change initiatives. Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, you will deliver major L&D focused projects in line with organisation's objectives. Some of the duties will include: Creation and maintenance of project documentation and reports, this will include the decision briefing papers for the Senior leadership Team. Facilitation of meetings and workshops for gathering requirements and generating solutions. Using appropriate project management tools and methodologies to underpin successful delivery. Building and maintaining strong and effective working relationships with stakeholders, and using these relationships to advise on benefits and risks of project-level proposals. Mentoring junior project personnel to support with their development. (With smaller scale IT projects and work streams), providing support by undertaking roles that cover Business Analysis or Testing where required. Using innovative approaches to solve problems skilfully and proactively. Person Spec Qualified project manager with experience of managing complex projects, partnering with external suppliers and with budget management responsibility. Highly developed interpersonal skills, including excellent communication, organisational and time management skills.
