Our Client: My client is an extremely progressive, forward thinking & dynamic 5 Partner Practice based in Croydon. This client pride themselves on offering exposure to high networth individuals, & the chance to gain progression with Accounts. Roles & Responsibilities of the Semi-Senior Accountant in Croydon Dealing with accounts preparation and assisting senior staff with projects Prepare VAT returns, management accounts and bookkeeping Responsibility for a portfolio of clients, all communication with those clients and to make sure that work is completed in a satisfactory and timely manner. Prepare VAT Returns for clients Bookkeeping on smaller jobs Assist senior staff on larger more complex accounts Carry out and/or oversee more complex bookkeeping work for clients The ideal candidate for this Semi-Senior Accountant in Croydon ACCA/ACA Studying or Qualified 3 years in UK Practice Good general accounts experience Good communicator Able to understand and follow instructions given by senior members of staff/ managers/ directors Able to organise and prioritise their workload What's on offer? Competitive salary £27,000 - £34,000, depending on experience Flexible working hours, 37.5 hours per week 20 days holiday bank holidays Friendly and inclusive working environment Company pension scheme Company lunch paid for once a week
