Overview

Our client is looking for a responsive and pro-active Business Support Administrator to join their small office. Working from their own initiative and being able to prioritise a busy and varied workload within a fast-paced national property maintenance company. The role includes: Answering telephone and email queries General administration Paying suppliers and contractors Preparation of timesheet for payroll Reconciliation of sales and purchase ledgers Preparation of VAT returns for submission to accountant Key skills and experience required: Sage Payroll and Accounts (Desirable) Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Microsoft) Confident and professional telephone manner General administration Knowledge of health and safety guidelines related to onsite working (Desirable) Knowledge of risk assessment and method statements (RAMS) and Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (COSHH) (Desirable) The successful candidate will be working as part a small team so a flexible approach to work is essential. You must be able to keep calm under pressure and work efficiently. Two weeks full time shadowing and training. Hours of work: Monday to Thursday - 9am to 5pm and Friday - 9am to 3pm (1 lunch break) 10 week probation period. Once the probation period is successfully completed the salary will be increased to £32,000 per annum in due course.
