Overview
We are delighted to be working with an organisation with national profile in helping to recruit their next Financial Controller to their team in Peterborough. Reporting into the Finance Director, you'll ensure that the team complies with all legal and financial reporting requirements and that reporting is consistent across the board. You will support the Finance Director in the management of the contractual relationship with the outsourcing partner and co-ordinate the Finance Team and partner input to the business plan, budget and performance management framework. Annual reports and accounts, liaising with Audit and the NAO will fall under your remit, while delivering business improvement programmes that increase efficiency and achieve buy-in will be paramount. The ideal candidate will be ACCA or ACA qualified with excellent technical skills and experience, You will also have the communication skills to build and develop relationships with the outsourced partner. There is a pathway for the role to develop into a Finance Director role in the future, and this role will suit a candidate with ambition to progress. A rare and fantastic opportunity.
