Based in our Leeds office, you will be supporting the Business testing all new changes and projects developed within a project environment, demonstrating strong testing capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Effective engagement and communication with the project team Ability to understand business requirements, functional specifications, design documents, and technical design specifications Contributing to the test phase using the appropriate test tools and techniques: test preparation, test specification, test execution, defect management and test completion activities. An understanding of the project and testing lifecycles, test plan and deliverables. Active communication of progress against their deliverables for each of the test phases. Attention to detail with the ability to record and communicate information correctly. Ability to work in a continually evolving and changing working environment within the specified timelines of the project and testing lifecycles Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and other Business systems and tools Basic understanding of the test environment deliverable and automation tools Qualifications Essential: Good Verbal and written skills Good analysis and planning skills Self-starter with ability to work independently or as part of a team as appropriate Good organisational & time management skills Ability to work well under pressure Ability to adapt to a changing environment and possibly conflicting priorities Desirable: Financial services industry knowledge in the area of Collective Investments; Transfer Agencies Working towards the ISTQB Foundation Certificate Working towards Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or equivalent Additional Information Please note we are recruiting for two User Acceptance Testers Link Group’s purpose statement 'Together we achieve’ reflects how much we value working together: with each other; with our clients; and with third parties, to help everyone achieve success - both personal and professional We have an ongoing commitment to career progression, training and education as well as a competitive compensation and benefits package that under pins this.
