Permanent job opportunity based in Rugby - MS SQL DBA - Salary up to £44k Your new company Our client is a International organisation with offices located in Rugby Your new role This an excellent permanent opportunity to join a highly successful organisation as a Database Administrator. As they go through the change of moving from Oracle to SQL Database. You'll supporting the operation of Databases, Modifying the database structure, as required. You'll ensure compliance, backup and recovery of information and support the diagnoses and resolution of technical issues while ensuring databases meet capacity and performance expectations. You'll also develop a new service to meet the business requirements such as develop business road maps and continuous improvement plans What you'll need to succeed As the successful DBA, you must be highly proficient in developing and supporting in MS SQL. You'll have good experience in the design, operation and implementation of IT infrastructure services. Due to the nature of the role as well as being proficient with MS SQL you'll also have experience in the development, implementation and support of at least one of the following: Oracle Open Source databases (PostGres, MySQL,MongoDB) You'll also have: At least HNC in an IT related subject or relevant experience ITIL v3 foundation (desirable) At least one of: Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional MCSA SQL Server 2012 Oracle MySQL 5.6 Database Administrator Certified Professional What you'll get in return You'll receive a salary of up to £44,000.00 depending on experience.
