Our client customise, supply, and install industrial fan solutions and have done so for over 40 years. Applications include Industrial, Commercial and Residential End Users and OEMs, with fan systems accommodating specific temperatures, noise restrictions, energy efficiencies and/ or harsh environments. This is a smaller industrial fan systems solution provider, which means they can offer a rapid and bespoke service. But don’t let that fool you, they can meet the needs of larger projects, complicated systems, and larger orders, with UK and international reach. An overview of the role? Our client is now looking to take on a Technical Engineer to help take the reins on this thriving engineering/ fabrication works. This opening would suit a technical system design focussed engineering professional from the Fan Engineering sector who has a real gift for bespoke solutions, as well as growing and improving the engineering operation. The role requirements: You will be instrumental in the design and development of air movement products to suit a variety of markets Working as part of the design technical team the role will involve providing system solutions, identifying the correct product to use in air movement applications, design testing of standard, and new products for manufacture. Production of necessary documentation required by the client Provide technical support to both external and internal clients Contribute to development of internal systems, engineering tools, and streamline activities of manufacturing Contribute to the production of necessary technical bulletins and technical data sheets What sort of people are we looking for? Understanding of airflow and air movement and the ability to calculate airflow requirements of applications including a selection of fan types Some experience in electrical controls Have experience in working with clients/being customer facing Have a good technical aptitude and be open to acquiring new skills Team player You must be capable of carrying out technical consultations, pricing, quotations, and negotiations with contacts Your core values must be Passion, Honesty & Integrity.
