We have an urgent vacancy for an experienced EMC Engineer to join QuEST Global Engineering on a Permanent basis to support a global leader in aeronautical power and electrical systems Company. The successful EMC Engineer will be part of our co-located team based at the client’s facility in Pitstone . Job Summary: Projects management Interpretation of regulations Assembly, performance and monitoring of the test Report writing Research and modification of components in hardware, welding. Customer contact Preparation, execution and monitoring of tests Writing reports of results Hardware handling and research Collaboration with hardware and mechanical design Roles & Responsibilities: Validation and certification of electronic and mechanical products of the aeronautical or industrial sector under Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) tests. Performance of functional tests and EMC for electronic products. Required Skills (Technical Competency): Bachelors Degree Project Management and Management Electronic Engineering Electronic instrumentation Leadership and Direction Aircraft industry Industrial mechanics PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) C Desired Skills: Good communication in English (oral & written) & Interpersonal skills Customer focus - ability to build and develop customer & supplier relationships Organisational agility Problem solving ability Logical thinking Effective time management Results driven outlook Salary • Negotiable dependent upon experience • Excellent benefits package include: Pension, Life assurance etc. DISCLAIMER: Due to the nature of work candidates should be UK citizen/ EU Citizen/ Valid work permit holder.
