Their recruitment drive at the minute is based on the huge demand for DevOps Engineers for the UK government who are looking to modernise and digitally advance their current software, systems and processes. The UK wants a more responsive and connected state which requires a national overhaul quickly and at scale. We want passionate, energetic engineers to work as part of an agile team to help clients build and continuously improve digital services using the best of open source software. You will focus on facilitating the general upkeep of critical services using your expert knowledge and experience. You'll also be responsible for improving system functionality as well as the deployment and iteration of software to deliver a smooth automated process from the start of the project lifecycle to the end. The role would require commitment to consultancy work as you will likely be away from home for 3/ 4 days of the week travelling anywhere in the UK, liaising with blue chip clients and offering your expertise and technical ability to provide pivotal guidance on their projects. Here's some of the skills that will make you excel in this role… Experience of commodity cloud provider - AWS or Azure in a production system.
