Liberty Centre Ltd, are currently recruiting for a number of Support Workers and Driver Support Workers within the Dagenham and Romford areas. Support Workers - Learning Disabilities (Dagenham and Romford Locations) Driver Support Workers - Learning Disabilities (Dagenham and Romford Locations) Liberty Centre is a specialist Centre for adults who have learning disabilities including Autism with associated challenging behaviours. Our services include a specialist day Centre, outreach, and supported living Units. We offer a safe and friendly environment for our service users and employees as well as use TEACCH principles to help our service users communicate. PERSON SPECIFICATIONS • Ideally have experience of providing care and support to young adults, and adults with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behavior. • Support service users with their personal care • Have good oral and written communication skills • Be computer literate • Ideally hold a NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care • Full time • Competitive pay rates, initial rate of £9.00 /hour • A valid UK Driving license which has been held for at least 3 years is required of all Driver Support Workers applicants.
