£500 joining bonus Pay starting from to £9.50 to £9.76 per hour including paid time for travel. Driving licence and car required - mileage paid at 40p per mile. You This role does not provide accommodation, you will be travelling from house to house in the local area of Poole in Dorset. Your role Domiciliary care is provided to people who still live in their own homes but who require additional support with household tasks, personal care or any other activity that allows them to maintain their independence and quality of life. Anyone at any stage of life could require domiciliary care including those with learning disabilities, sensory impairment or physical disabilities. As a domiciliary care worker you will be an essential part of their daily routine and the person you are assisting is relying on you to maintain their independence. You will support and assist service users in all household duties and personal care tasks and devlelop relationships of mutual respect and trust with the service users, by being open in all forms of communication and by being continuously supportive. People that use our Service are at the heart of everything we do. As part of a close-knit, friendly team, you’ll assist them with their physical and emotional needs. From day one, we’ll help you progress and take on more responsibility. For example, you’ll be involved in developing individual care plans and supporting new colleagues. To succeed, you’ll need to be able to think on your feet, prioritise your own workload and keep accurate records. We’ll give you ongoing support and quality training to build your career.
