Overview

Search Consultancy are currently working with a client based in Glasgow city centre who are looking for and experienced Accounts Assistant to join their growing finance team. Applicants should have some experience of working in a busy accounts department and be familiar with all aspects of sales and purchase ledger processing as well as bank reconciliations. Responsibilities include: · Sales ledger maintenance and all aspects of Credit Control · Purchase ledger maintenance, including invoice processing, authorisation and payment · Processing daily bank receipts and payments including credit card payments · Resolving supplier invoice queries and statement reconciliations · End of month balance sheet reconciliations for ledgers and bank accounts · Expenses, petty cash and any other administrative duties as required Required skills and experience : · Experience of Sage 50 Accounts is preferred · Previous sales and purchase ledger experience is required · Experienced in Credit Control · Proficient in Excel · Strong communication skills both written and verbal · Excellent teamworker · Problem solver · Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative Salary is dependent on experience Accounting: 1 year (Preferred) Search is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
