Purchase Ledger Clerk, Up to £24,000, Cambridge Your new company A prestigious institution in Cambridge is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their established team. This established institution has been based in Cambridge for over 300 years and have invested in brand new facilities to provide excellent provisions for all their customers. Your new role As the Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will be responsible for processing and coding invoices, reconciliation of supplier statements, preparing BACS payments, maintaining the supplier database and dealing with supplier queries. The Purchase Ledger Clerk will also be responsible for journal entries and assisting the Finance Manager will ad-hoc finance duties. As you will be the sole person providing a Purchase Ledger service to the institution, this is a great opportunity for someone who works in an Accounts Payable of Purchase Ledger function who is looking for a role where they can progress their career further. What you'll need to succeed To be successful, you will have strong experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable function, have strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail. You will also possess strong Excel skills and have the ability to prioritise tasks.
