Overview
Occupational Health Advisor – Chichester – P/T 3 days - £38k OH318 We are working with a large OH Provider to source an Occupational Health Advisor to be based at a client site in Chichester. The role breakdown is 80% Case Management, 10% Health Surveillance and 10% HR Support. Main duties of the role include: Provide case management services for referrals relating to attendance, fitness for work and other requests for OH advice. Provide professional, comprehensive and evidence based written reports. Evaluate the results of medicals and surveillance provided and ensure that the correct advice in relation to fitness is communicated, escalating where clinically appropriate. To provide OH services where required such as vaccinations, travel health services, ergonomic advice, or health promotion for our clients. To provide clinical supervision and support other team members where relevant (such as OH Technicians). Requirements of the role: Registration with NMC Part 1 Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health Degree/Diploma IT literacy and competence Excellent knowledge of occupational health and employment legislation Case Management and provision of OH advice General medicals and health surveillance You should be proficient in the provision of: Spirometry Audiometry General Medicals Drug and Alcohol screening Case Management Fitness for role assessment This is a part time role working 3 days (22.5 hours) per week on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday between the hours of 8.30am-5.00pm.
