About the job We are currently recruiting for Care Assistants to join our dedicated care team at Sunrise of Beaconsfield. We have full time, part time and bank opportunities available across both days and nights. For day shifts we are looking for people who are flexible to work a mixture of long days and shorter shifts and who can also work weekdays and weekends as hours are on a rota basis within the team. Our day shifts are 7am to 7pm and our night shifts are 7pm to 7am. We also have 7am to 2.30pm or 2pm to 9.30pm. Leading rates of pay and benefits We are located within walking distance of Beaconsfield Old Town and main train station in the New Town where there are excellent connections to London, High Wycombe, Oxford, Birmingham and local nearby towns. Our community is directly opposite a bus stop with regular bus routes to Slough and High Wycombe. No problem Previous experience within the Care sector is not essential as we provide full comprehensive training. All our new care team members undergo a 2 week induction programme including eLearning, commencement of your care certificate underpinning knowledge of 15 standards and practical sessions which include Memory Care Pathway, Falls documentation training, Dining experience and Allergen, Basic Care and Customer Service skills. We also arrange competency and shadow shifts as part of your training. Our Management team and Senior Care Assistants will be there every step of your career to guide and support you. We will give you a 10p enhancement on your hourly rate after 6 months service, 20p after 12 months and 30p for 2 year`s service. Sound judgment, initiative and problem solving ability are extremely important. The ability to read, write and communicate in English will also be vital.
