They apply these technologies in refrigerated transport, built environment and commercial vehicles. The Role: This is a performance & efficiency focused role, where you will need high attention to detail and be able to work effectively with others to produce high quality data. Data will be the food for your model, so communicating effectively with technicians and engineers is crucial. This role is all about driving efficiency through code, so you'll need experience using GT-SUITE or Amesim. Day to day activity will include: - Creating and maintaining simulation models of piston engines, drivelines, refrigeration and heat transfer applications. - Calibrating and validating simulation models with experimental data. - Experienced using simulation software; GT-SUITE or Amesim. - Able to design, develop, modify, maintain and run complex models - Programming skills in Matlab / Python) - Able to push efficiency through all departments, working with the design team to ensure methods go ahead. - Exceptional technical analysis skills, able to document data findings into comprehensive reports. - Comfortable and confident managing staff, as this role will have one direct report; Thermal Systems Engineer.
