Due to ongoing product development and expansion, we are looking to help them hire a SOFTWARE DESIGN ENGINEER with professional experience and a proven background in the development of embedded control systems. Their offices are based on the South-East London/Kent borders, free parking, healthcare, state of the art offices and equipment with a friendly, supportive environment that actively encourages development. What will you be doing? Working in the Research & Development team, actively design and develop software solutions for embedded control systems Take responsibility for the full product lifecycle from initial concept through detailed design and development through to release for manufacture Provide technical support and updates for existing and new software designs Documentation of software and support of the project through approvals Support to the hardware team in bring-up, development and testing of prototype hardware designs What do you need to be successful? A minimum of 2 years' experience or more in designing software for embedded control systems Experienced in "C" programming Have the ability to demonstrate strong fault-finding and analytical skills Experience of CodeWarior, MpLab, Crossworks or a similar IDE Suitable Degree qualification, HND or Industry qualifications Fab communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all areas of the business from junior to senior level Live in the South-East London, Kent area Enthusiasm - will do/can do attitude, Proactive Team player What's in it for you?
