Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineer - Westerham A new position has now been created for an Embedded Software Engineer to join my clients growing R&D team in the Westerham area. The ideal embedded engineer will be able to illustrate experience developing software solutions for embedded controls systems. You should be strong programming in C, have experience of network and comms protocols (I2C, SPI, RS232, SDIO, Bluetooth etc), ideally have worked with CodeWarrior, MpLab or Crossworks and be able to demonstrate strong fault finding and analytical skills. The successful embedded engineer will be joining a small team working on the design of a new industry leading products whilst maintaining the current generation. You should expect the role to involve: Working in the R&D team to design and develop software solutions for embedded control systems. Full product life cycle responsibility from initial concept, through detailed design and development, to release for manufacture. Providing technical support and updates for existing and new software designs. Documentation of software and support of the project through approvals. Support of the hardware team in bring-up, development and testing of prototype hardware designs.
