Middleware Engineer £35,000 - £50,000 Cirencester remote working One of our friendly, close-knit technical clients are looking for a hard-working Middleware Engineer to join their close-knit team. You will be working 2 days a week from their Cirencester offices and 3 days remote working. As an international entrepreneur, our client needs an enthusiastic, professional Middleware Engineer to come onboard and assist in the company’s growth. So, if you are a Middleware Engineer looking for your next opportunity then this is the role for you Responsibilities: Work with the backend engineering team to ensure development and code practise are producing the best product possible Be willing to learn new technologies and concepts through best industry practise Take technical responsibility for your coding Lead the overall design software architecture and implement databases Ensure the quality of architecture and design Develop the website based on agreed specification Liaise with the backend engineering team, lead engineer and Q&A Ensure new and existing applications are scaled to meet expected demand Identify and fix gaps in system reliability, such as production monitoring Skills/ Experience: Highly proficient with Node. js platform Highly proficient with PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, HTML & CSS Experience using modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Node Experience using MVC frameworks – Laravel, Symfony, Zend Creating REST API’s Ideally you will have worked with things like Git, Grunt, Gulp and Webpack You will have worked in an agile/scrum environment Equipment is provided If you require any further information please contact Joe Lyons on GB Tech is your specialist in IT and Technology recruitment.
