Senior Consultant - Telco Cloud
Overview
Senior Consultant (Telco Cloud) Leading Brand 6 months We are representing a leading brand who are urgently seeking an experienced Consultant to provide technical and delivery leadership in network solutions. You will be the go-to-person to solve complex problems and help drive the delivery of very critical projects for our customers. You will have the chance to design, build and deliver these technologies on your own and as part of larger teams. This is a very exciting time in the Cloud industry and a very exciting time to join the fastest growing team in our organisation. Duties: Work in a consultative manner to deliver Telco Cloud, SDWAN and other solutions into Customers Own the holistic view of the entire technical aspects of projects Ensure solution architectures meet the customer objective Technical delivery success, including assessment, design, test and validation, and implementation Engage with Sales, Services Marketing, and Global Delivery Leads to develop and support business pipelines and to closing deals. Engage with the technical community through industry events, web forums, and publications When assigned, contribute to technical design of new service offerings. Able to investigate, learn, and engage in projects with new technologies. Technical Skills Needed Essential - Linux, Scripting (e.g. Perl, Python), Network Monitoring and OSS/BSS/IT integration. Ideal - Contrail, OpenStack (Red Hat/Mirantis/other), Contrail Service Orchestration (other Orchestration), Ubuntu/RHEL, KVM (other) Hypervisors, Containers, Docker and Juniper products including vMX, vSRX, NFX. Knowledge of underlay/overlay and IP networking. Advantageous - VMware vCenter/NSX, MPLSoGRE, VXLAN, RESTful APIs, Icinga, Junos (awareness not expertise), SLAX/Junos Automation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Cobbler. Experience/Background Desired 10 years' experience in delivering Systems into Telco and/or DC environments, and integration into OSS/BSS/IT in Service Providers and/or Enterprise customers 2-3 years SDN / NFV related experience Minimum of 10 years in a customer-facing/Consultative roles Technical writing This is an urgent requirement with interviews due to happen ASAP.
