Overview
Management Accountant - Part Qualified Newly created role within an international media company. With offices and interests in both UK and Europe. The Management Accountant is a pivotal role within the team and will work across several areas of finance, with huge visibility across the business. The role will report into the Financial Business Partner and working within a UK finance team. You'll be responsible with preparing the month end management accounts. The role includes the monthly production of management accounts including posting journals, balance sheet reconciliations, analysis on P&L etc. This is a great role for someone who is part- qualified and has the ambition to work within a busy role in a vibrant, dynamic company. Full study support will be provided. The role will include: Responsible for the full management accounts - month end. Assist with the month end duties for the company and reports for submission including balance sheet reconciliations, P&L, Accruals & Prepayments, fixed assets and posting journals. Assisting with preparation and analysis of variances to budget/forecast with commentary on business drivers. Prepare the group weekly cash flow submissions. Assist the Finance Business Partners and other finance divisions with any other ad hoc work. The Managemnt Accountant will possess: Part-qualification (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT or equivalent); study supported provided. At least 2 years' experience gained within a finance department. Self-starter, highly motivated, able to prioritise and work meticulously in a busy environment; Passion and driven with the will to exceed expectations and progress within your career; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Able to build solid working relationships around the business and with external stakeholders; Strong Excel skills.
