Overview

My Stonehouse based client is currently looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their team. With a culture of empowerment, they are seeking focused, driven and talented individuals to make things happen so they can deliver their ambitious growth plans. Working hours for the role are 07:00 - 15:00 - Monday - Friday. Reporting to the Production Manager you will help manage the overall performance of the production department, ensuring that the department is run efficiently and effectively. You will hold daily briefing meetings, ensure that production and quality KPIs are met and that cost saving and process improvement measures are implemented. You will also support with all aspects of material control, health and safety, staff recruitment, training and management. The ideal candidate will have: Experience of supervising others in a manufacturing / production environment is essential The successful person will have a positive, proactive approach to tasks, with good people and communication skills Effective organisational and prioritisation skills, with the ability to work effectively to deadlines and under pressure
