Overview
Production Supervisor Stonehouse £Competitive 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday I am looking for a Production Supervisor to join a manufacturer in Stonehouse. We are looking for a candidate who has supervised staff to meet quality, output and safety demands. The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing performance of production department ensuring Health & Safety disciplines are adhered to. They are responsible for the management of all personnel issues, appraisals and development programs of the team. They are also responsible for leading the team through the continuous improvement programs. Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor: " All personnel issues associated with the auto production line and support cells. " All Health & safety practices " Management of all teams " Overall performance of production line and support cells. " Dealing with conflict and disciplinary issues " Continuous improvement programs " Recruitment & selection " Management of new products and lines " Training and development programs " Appraisals and job chats including return to works " Quality standards " Shop floor environment " Waste management " Customer service issues " Coordinate maintenance programs " Assist Production Manager " Relations with internal customers " Team meetings Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product. Some machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment. These include eye safety glasses, hard hats, high viz's and safety boots, that must be worn at all times. Uniform and any protective clothing must be worn.
