For the site in Clayton, Manchester we are looking for a: Shift Manager (m/f/d) Responsibilities Power user for troubleshooting and maintaining the PCS7 control system Run and understand all 7 Reactor streams on the Site Respond to equipment/process problems Ensure department strategy and plans are developed and executed to achieve continuity and continuous improvement in these areas. Managing safety procedures, BSP targets, housekeeping standards, cycle time targets, completion of batch sheets, mandatory wearing of PPE Primary permit issuer on site; also including the administration of any supporting safety procedure (e.g. Lock, tag & try and Management of Change.) Respond to equipment/process problems Responsible for developing a shift training plan, in agreement with the operations manager/training coordinators, and implementing the plan. Manager during 'Out of Hours' for all areas of the Site including managing deliveries, people, out going materials, and storage within the Warehouse Operation Meet or exceed company KPI's Requirements Higher Level of Education in Engineering or Science (ideally Chemical Engineering) Technical training Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in manufacturing environment Experience managing multiple duties involving a variety of procedures requiring judgment in handling routine work.
