Self motivated and experienced Maintenance Engineer required for this well established, market leading manufacturing company. Attractive salary benefits career progression offered. The Role The Maintenance Engineer will provide maintenance and breakdown and support engineering. Working as a team member to maximise efficient operation in a safe working environment. Key Responsibilities Routine and planned maintenance of equipment Daily/weekly/monthly equipment testing Report issues & faults Machine breakdown repairs, minimising breakdown times and ultimately loss of production Record all maintenance activity and parts used End of shifts handovers Provide cover for small maintenance works Develop strong understanding and knowledge of machinery Contribute to process improvement Ordering parts Assist with development and training of other staff Skills & Experience Electrically competent - ideally qualified - electrically bias Mechanical background Electrical testing & fault finding Working knowledge of Hydraulics & Pneumatic desirable but not essential Ability to work with customers Maintaining a high volume production line, minimising breakdown times Working under pressure Strong Health & Safety awareness Professional, personable attitude Outgoing communicator Initiative Benefits & Other Information Starting salary of £32,500 33 days holiday, including bank holidays Healthshield Contributory pension (9%) Sick pay (after probationary period) Childcare vouchers Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday within a 2 shift system system of 06.00-14.30 and 14.30-2300 (8 hour shift) If you do not receive an initial reply within 3 working days you have unfortunately been unsuccessful This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89834858
