Implementation Engineer - Cyber Security, Linux, Python, Networking Are you a 3rd line application support engineer or implementation consultant based in London or Amsterdam? Do you have intermediate to advanced Linux/Unix (CLI, CentOS, Ubuntu) skills? Can you read Python scripts and do some basic coding? Have you implemented and integrated complex data reliant software before? Do you understand cybersecurity, networking, and firewalls (IP, DNS extra)? Can you own areas of project delivery and do you have strong communication skills / are client-facing? Vertex International are recruiting an Implementation / Delivery Consultant for a double-digit growth Cyber Security company that focuses on threat detection and management. This role works within their delivery function and contributes to the development and delivery of software and support/services across multiple environments. These include integrations lab networks, demonstration of product capabilities, support problem reproduction infrastructure, intelligence delivery networks, and cloud infrastructure, etc. A good understanding of data scraping and caches is a bonus as the more internal and external data coming into their products and services, the better they work. Required Linux/Unix (CLI, CentOS, Ubuntu) Python Networking and firewalls An understanding of Cyber Security, Threat Detection a plus Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 plus benefits Location: London / Amsterdam (some travel required with good flexibility on home working) This role would suit a client-facing, technically skilled in Linux, Python and Networking professional who would like to work in cybersecurity.
