Overview
PSR Solutions are working with a leading, tier one construction & infrastructure contractor to recruit a Section Engineer / Sub Agent. This opportunity is currently open to both freelance and permanent applicants. The successful Engineer will be initially assigned to a large-scale flood defence scheme near Manchester, with future projects including further major schemes in the North West of the UK. Key Duties: Take control of the technical aspect of the project works Setting out - including associated structures and substructures Assisting & mentoring Junior Engineering & technical staff on site Management of Sub-Contracting Engineering activity Completing quality documentation Implementation of Quality planning and controls to ensure project compliance with the Specification and the Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Sustainability Company Policies Undertake setting out, QA, issuing permits. Checking and ensuring that the project works comply with the requirements of the contract specification and drawings etc. Maintain accurate and consistent records Maintain and develop client relationships Requirements & Qualifications: CSCS Card SSSTS or SMSTS (Desirable) Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent First Aid at Work Experience of working on Environmental Agency, Flood Defence, Water Schemes Experience of major civil engineering projects Experienced at undertaking quality checks Competent user of basic Microsoft office packages For more information, please contact Ryan Hall at PSR Solutions Sheffield 01144 366 366 or apply within.
