Overview
Service Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: £ Negotiable Overview: We are currently recruiting for an service engineer to work for our client in Birmingham, the role will be working with a wide range of pumps and equipment across their customer sites and at their workshop, and would suit someone who is flexible to work within both a workshop and field service role. Duties and responsibilities would include: · All aspects of Dismantling and inspecting pumps. · Liaising with suppliers and other maintenance/technical support from manufacturers. · Specifying replacement parts and tools. · Servicing, inspecting, periodic testing and cleaning pumps. · Implementation and continued compliance of Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental legislation in line with management policies. · The role would suit someone who has experience within mechanical engineering with experience of installation, servicing, repairs and overhaul. Key Skills: · Excellent Pneumatic, hydraulics and mechanical systems knowledge. · Honest, Reliable and Self-motivated. · Able to read and interpret Hydraulic and Pneumatic drawings. · Meticulous attention to detail. · Good fault-finding skills. · Strong work ethic. · Ability to use own initiative and a team player. · Confidence to respond positively when under pressure. · Good communicator and leader. · Flexible and adaptable with good dexterity. · Effective Communication and interpersonal skills. · Good IT skills.
