Mobile Engineer / Software Developer (iOS Android React Native). Are you a skilled, ambitious Mobile Engineer looking for your next challenge? The company is carving a revolutionary path in consumer banking, staying a step ahead of their competitors through their unique cloud-based technology. They are looking for a Mobile Engineer to help further develop the scalable, cloud-based next generation banking platform. In this Mobile Engineer role, you’ll play a critical role in the development and maintenance of the new mobile application and its core features, primarily working with React Native. You’ll partner with accomplished developers and engineers to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology, produce PoCs and evaluate the technical feasibility to assist with the architecture and design of new and current systems in a collaborative technology driven environment. As a Mobile Engineer you’ll work with a diverse, current tech stack including TypeScript and JavaScript, with prototyping work in React Native, Redux, Axios etc. (they use Java 8 and Spring microservices running on DynamoDB / Cassandra / Kafka on the back end). There will be a continuous strong pipeline of projects where you will be supported to work to your strengths and develop your skills. Requirements: You have strong Mobile software engineering experience, with good knowledge of iOS and Android SDK You’re able to prototype using technologies like React Native, Redux, Axios, TypeScript, JavaScript You have experience writing unit / integration / functional tests You’re familiar with software management methodologies like Agile and Scrum You’re a positive, collaborative team player and excellent communicator Experience with other technologies in the stack is beneficial: Node.js, Java, Spring, microservices, DynamoDB, Cassandra, Kafka, Jenkins As a Mobile Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £80k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
