Overview
Approach Personnel are currently seeking a Setting out Engineer for a project based in Luton. The engineer must have GPS controller experience, be able to use LSS/CAD software, and able to use Rover GPS equipment. it is essential the right candidate has a background in earthworks. the project is 10 weeks in Duration and to start soon as possible. Job Details: You will be undertaking and setting out duties Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work Monitor contractors upload Model informations Carry out surveys Insuring all health & safety is carried out to a high level Helping with the selection and purchase of materials for use in the construction and their value Liaising with any consultants and / or sub-contractors engaged in the project Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site, and ensuring that regulations are up kept Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may occur Quality Assurance Development of strong team working relationships Bulk earthworks cut and fill Requirements: CSCS card / An industry applicable qualification Working knowledge of CAD Working knowledge of microsoft packages Self motivated GPS Controller background Earthworks background Rover Be able to organise yourself Be able to work in a strong team environment An excellent communicator This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Approach Personnel Ltd that is operating as an employment business.
