Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing client of H2 Consultancy based in Stoke-On-Trent. This is a varied role, reporting into the Engineering Manager. This position has arisen due to expansion and requires an enthusiastic person to take up a new role within the maintenance team. Main Duties In your role as a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will be supporting the existing team and manage the following tasks: Fault finding during production/performing planned and predictive maintenance/assessing need of spare parts. Knowledge of installing/repairing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and PLC driven equipment. Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the business. Working as part of a team ensuring that all breakdowns and requests are responded to and repaired efficiently You should have a good working knowledge and understanding of factory processes and automated technology and be able to demonstrate ability to support teams internally and externally, to ensure effectiveness in line with the needs of the business. Familiar with planned preventive maintenance. Experience Required Time served apprenticeship or equivalent. Mechanical qualifications are essential. 17th or 18th edition certificate essential.
