Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer – Stoke on Trent Salary up to 40k Working in an experienced engineering team, you need to be Trained & Certificated in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, but with experience of both disciplines. Hours: Continental Shifts, 3 on, 3 off based on a 12 hour shift Essential Skills: • Trained & certificated in Electrical or Mechanical engineering, but with experience of both disciplines. • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an automated production environment. • Good working knowledge of fluid power systems. • Experience of working with robotic systems and PPM scheduling. Examples of day to day work: • Stripping/Repairing Pumps and Gearboxes. • Faultfinding automated transport systems. • Faultfinding electro-pneumatic systems. • Robot program adjustments. • PLC modifications. • Minor electrical installations. • Site maintenance. • Fabrication/Welding. • Fault finding proportional hydraulic systems. • Fault finding 3 phase motor control circuits.
