Overview
Our client is a boutique established research & development firm who are looking for a Graduate R&D Financial Analyst to join on a full-time basis to support the team with the production of technical reports and the calculation of financial information aiding the submission of R&D tax claims Genuine commitment and passion to develop in a growing industry, with the aim of helping SME’s and large clients to successfully claim potential tax refund/credits; Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal; To be a capable user of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook; A co-operative and flexible approach to working with others to meet agreed objectives and deadlines; Proven self-management skills enabling the role holder to set and manage their own priorities; Exposure to an accounting/finance environment would advantageous, however this role will enable you to work independently and learn and develop new skills through full training; Have excellent communication skills as you will be supporting and working closely with clients and their accountants; Be highly organised, ambitious with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn; Liaise with the clients and/or their accountants to obtain information required to prepare tax summaries; Producing summary reports and presentations for clients; To be able to be flexible as part of the close team, this may mean assisting colleagues from time to time in support of the efficient operation of the business.
