2nd Line Engineer

My client is a Somerset based Information Technology firm, who pride themselves on delivering outstanding customer service and robust and secure solutions. They offer excellent benefits, a fun working environment, with a heavy emphasis on health and work-life balance and a high level of job satisfaction You will provide 2nd line engineer to external customers, therefore outstanding customer service skills are a must This is a full-time position, based in Yeovil, with regular offsite travel, so a full clean driving licence is a must. Salary is up to £30,000, depending on knowledge level and experience. The main duties include: • Project Management and Technical Lead • An escalation point for more complex service issues • To provide technical support by phone, email, remote support or onsite (where required) • Keep a record of all time and effort on internal ticketing system • Create, maintain and upkeep documentation • Deliver incredible customer service • Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing necessary training and advice The successful candidate: • A “can do” attitude • Full UK Driving License • A desire to solve problems and puzzles that you have not encountered before • Proven experience of managing and delivering technical projects • Aptitude to use online research tools and internal documentation to find resolutions to problems • Willingness to help, support and offer excellent service to customers and colleagues • Excellent telephone manner and face-to-face communication skills This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and ever-expanding business, with a great company culture and lots of perks Elite Staffing Solutions are acting as an Employment Agency on this vacancy.
