Sous Chef - Award winning restaurant, £26,000 plus tips and a real chance to progress North Wales. Sous Chef wanted for this growing, award winning Restaurant Group located close to Porthmadog, Part of an expanding Restaurant group there is a real chance to progress Part of a large brigade your role will be to support the Head Chef with all day to day duties from orders, leading the kitchen and working on the pass to training of junior staff members. Real opportunity to grow and develop within this business JOB DESCRIPTION A competent Sous Chef is needed to help set up the kitchen and place high standards in the operation, work in a dynamic and professional team, help develop a strong kitchen brigade, assist in the organisation and presentation of the foods and to supervise, manage and control in the Head Chefs absence. Vibrant kitchen team, working in various kitchens, areas and sections. Producing a vast array of different foods and cuisines, covering restaurant dinning to large corporate banquets and functions. Many opportunities to learn and develop skills, gaining invaluable experience from a large kitchen brigade. Excellent work environment with emphasise placed on training, development, teamwork and job satisfaction. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Knowledge of paperwork is a must as this is very much a management position. Good team management skills are needed and experience in a similar position would be of benefit. A proven track record, strong development, career driven with fresh ideas will express drive, success and passion for the position.
