Our Client, a well-established Gastro Pub are looking for a passionate Sous Chef to surpass the high standards already set at this superb venue. Set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, this establishment remains busy year-round with visitors and locals returning consistently. Using locally sourced ingredients, this fresh food establishment pride themselves on serving fantastic contemporary British cuisine and are looking for an enthusiastic Sous Chef, to join their talented brigade. The Role: · As Sous Chef you will be expected to work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that every aspect of the service runs smoothly. · Supervising and supporting other staff. · Be a competent and comfortable running the team when left in charge. The ideal Sous Chef · We are looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated professional chef. · Good all-round kitchen skills. · Attention to detail and a real passion for food. · You will have kitchen management experience with an excellent attitude to work and must be prepared to be flexible where needed. · Will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience at this level and come from a fresh food background.
