Overview

The Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager will be responsible for supporting the Conference & Banqueting Manager in the smooth running of all functions and events operations within the C&B department. This will involve overseeing a wide variety of different events including weddings, private dinners and conferences. As Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager your role is to provide the highest quality of guest service, ensuring total guest satisfaction and maximising repeat custom. You will assist and deputise for in the absence of you manager all weddings, and will be responsible and accountable for all Weddings, the operation, hosting and billing of each event Attributes/Experience You will need a strong operational track record within the Hospitality industry, with a sound knowledge of Food and Beverage. You will have excellent verbal communication skills, be highly organised, passionate and self-motivated. You will be enthusiastic, customer-focused and work within deadlines set to meet business and customer demands. Proven experience of managing a team is essential as is the ability to train, develop and motivate people to achieve the targets that will be set.
