Recruiting for a General Manager to manage the catering operations at this unique stunning venue in East Sussex. Do you have a background in managing Hospitality and Events in a commercial 5 star environment? Do you have a track record of building strong relationships with client team and customer base? Are you an experienced hospitality leader with a proven track record in driving innovation and service quality? Are you a strategic thinker with good industry knowledge of what’s happening in the market place? Have you got strong leadership skills and are financially astute and creative in your thinking? I am working with a large unique venue in East Sussex who are recruiting for a General Manager who will oversee the hospitality and events operations, visitor Café and weddings. · The General Manager will be able to demonstrate excellent people management skills with experience of managing large teams. · Have multi-unit food and beverage experience with a successful track record. · Have a passion for food and service and the ability to innovate. · Have a high degree of knowledge in Food Hygiene and Safe Working Practice. · Have the ability to manage in a diverse and pressurised environment with a focus on client and guest service · Have strong organisational and time management skills with a high degree of flexibility. · Be commercially focused. · Be a self-motivator and someone who is ready to challenge in the interest of continuous improvement. · Have problem solving skills and be confident and assertive · Proven track record within 5 star hotels and fine dining Salary to £45,000 This job was originally posted as www.caterer.com/job/89833458
