Job description We are currently recruiting a Clinical Services Manager (Theatre) to work in Aberdeen. As a Clinical Services Manager, you will plan clinical services for the Operating Department and lead your team to deliver the highest levels of safe peri-operative patient care throughout every stage of their surgery. With a strong background working in an acute hospital, setting you will already be a Senior Registered Practitioner/ ODP with previous experience in a relevant Theatre or Deputy Theatre Manager role. You will have experience managing and developing both clinical and non-clinical theatre team members and be able to motivate your staff to achieve CQC standards. You will also be able to demonstrate continual clinical and professional development throughout your theatre career. Role Purpose: To strategically plan, the clinical services, responsible for day-to-day organisation and management of clinical departments. Providing clear direction and leadership to all clinical staff, whilst supporting the initiatives of the hospital. Taking responsibility to lead the department under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services. Responsible for the deployment, supervision and teaching of staff within the clinical area supporting the hospital management team in providing clinical leadership. The role is responsible for development, motivation and performance of all clinical staff, ensuring the achievement of CQC / HIS Standards as required for nursing services in an acute care hospital accepting planned and emergency surgical and medical admissions.
