Overview
The Role Lead delivery of assigned projects to budget, schedule, scope and quality (value) Work closely with CAM (accountable delivery manager), technical lead and project controller to achieve the above Understand and assess project ‘value’, and ensure project remains on track to deliver value, identifying change as required Authorisation of work within task budget Customer, Partner & Supplier Liaison/negotiation and relationship building Responsibility for application and compliance with Life Cycle Management Produce inputs to monthly Contract Status Report (CSR) Leadership and motivation of the project team Inform decision making on resourcing strategy, subcontracts or supply chain. Derivation / verification of Integrated Business Planning assumptions relating to the project Management of risk and responsibility for risk contingencies Define appropriateness of Project QMS Manage project change Adherence to MAI Export Control Compliance Closure of legacy contracts The Individual Experience in project management delivery and business winning environments Ability/willingness to work proactively in a highly dynamic, flexible environment with tight timescales. Good stakeholder management skills Experience of working closely with engineering in technically challenging areas Experience of working with commercial issues and with the commercial function Experience of working with MoD and suppliers / partners is highly recommended, PM Qualifications such as APMP Level D / APM Practitioner are beneficial but not necessary.
