Overview

Job Description A Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions within an iterative development environment. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders to transform and present information into meaningful outputs through reports and visualisations. Responsibilities � Working with stakeholders, analysts and other developers to understand systems and collaborate on the implementation of appropriate BI solutions. � Translate business requirements and rules in into technical design specifications. � Build and deploy BI solutions using appropriate code standards, configuration and change management process and procedures. � Working with multidimensional and relational data sets to support the creation of Framework Manager Models and TM1 Cubes. � Update all development activities in BICC change management database and ensure all statuses follow a development lifecycle. � Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses on source data. Create tools to store data following standards defined by DV team lead where applicable (e.g. DV and SQL database for Finance tables). � Ensure test plans, unit tests and peer reviews are carried out for all development. � Working closely with key stakeholders within business functions to transition completed development to business as usual and provide the appropriate standard operating procedures. � Ensure incidents raised are responded to and resolved within the agreed service level agreements. � Knowledge and understanding of release and deployment process including using version control using Motio CI.
