Wind Turbine Service Engineers

Wind Farm Service Engineers required for work in Preston Responsibilities and Tasks You will be required to develop a detailed knowledge of our clients wind turbines to enable you to perform daily maintenance and other field service related tasks. Working to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met, you will be part of a team of technicians working on our clients projects in & around the Preston area. These posts will be based onshore. Other duties will be to carry out periodic service inspections in accordance with our customers specifications together with component replacement (both electrical and mechanical) and troubleshooting on the systems. Qualifications and Work Experience The successful candidate will be time served or hold a recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, ONC or HNC Level) and will possess a full, clean driving license. Previous experience working with wind turbines is advantageous but qualified candidates with working experience from other industries will be considered. Travel is to be expected & candidates must be prepared to work at heights.
