Overview
Do you have 3rd line support experience? Do you have experience with Java? If so how does up to £40,000 25 Days Holiday Pension sound? We have an exciting opportunity for a Java Support Developer to join our Global organisation in Nottingham. As a support analyst you will provide 3rd line software product support and will be able to utilise your knowledge of Java and software technologies to great effect, you will resolve incidents and restore regular service quickly and you will identify root cause and implement fixes at code level. We are looking for the following experience: Expertise in core Java 8 Experience in Java development and 3rd line support Experience with at least one platform i.e. Oracle, MSSQL, Postgres Experience of troubleshooting issues on various operating system and platform such as Unix, Windows, IBM WebSphere, Apache Tomcat Some exposure to open source technologies or frameworks such as IntelliJ, bitbucket, LDAP directory, JavaScript, etc This is a great opportunity for someone to grow and develop into a development role within a global organization.
