Role responsibilities The role is an excellent opportunity to be a part of a vibrant team. We put our customers first and pride ourselves on providing an excellent service for our customers and solving their problems as effectively as possible. The primary role of the Service Desk is to receive suspected software defects, the successful applicant will: Ensure that problems described in cases are described in a clear and accurate manner. Understand and clearly document customer deadlines. Assess the impact a problem is having on the customer. Apply appropriate Service Level Agreements to cases. Investigate the suspected software defect and clearly document and communicate progress throughout. Produce Root Cause Analysis documents. Key Skills We want to hear from people who have a positive attitude, a passion for great customer service and a willingness and desire to be helpful; you will also need excellent problem solving and investigative skills. Experience with complex and bespoke applications is desirable however, this not essential. To be considered for the role you will need to: Have an excellent telephone manner. You will be a well-spoken individual. You need to have exceptional written English skills Have an ability to communicate with customers of all technical levels. Have keen eye for detail. Excellent problem-solving skills. An ability to adapt to changing priorities. Have brilliant organisational skills. Grasp technical and legislative concepts quickly.
