Internal Auditor

Expanding professional services organisation based in Knaresborough currently requires an Internal Auditor to join their accounts function. Working closely with both the Financial Controller and Finance Director you will undertake a key role within the business. Your main duties will see you evaluating current audit processes and procedures analysing key performance statistics and ensuring each project is conducted in line with current procedures. You will also assist with system implementation, testing any 1st issues that may arise and reporting your findings to senior management. Other ad hoc projects will also make up a large part of your role. Ideally you will be ACA/ACCA part qualified with previous Internal/External Audit exposure with at least 2 years' experience within a similar role. Industry exposure would be advantageous but not essential. You must also be able to demonstrate excellent excel systems knowledge and be able to work largely unsupervised. You will also be able to liaise with senior finance and non-finance departments within the organisation.
