Overview
Our client manufactures a range of highly engineered products supplying a global marketplace. The company now seeks to appoint an individual who combines their core finance competencies with outstanding commercial acumen to drive and grow the business. Reporting to and working alongside the Managing Director key responsibilities will include: Provide leadership to the businesses finance, accounting and commercial strategies, to optimise financial performance, identify opportunities for improvement and drive growth Ensure that company financial systems are robust supporting current and future activities Develop and implement a suite of best in class management information, that encompasses budgeting processes, reporting, cost of sales and other critical performance indicators Lead, motivate and engage direct reports, internal and external stakeholders in support of driving a collaborative approach to achieving business goals. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) and possess extensive experience within a manufacturing and/or engineering environment. Experience of operating within a Group structure would be advantageous.
