Do you have engineering experience from a manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for a Process Engineer to join a word leading manufacturer and supplier of award winning ceramics based in Stoke on Trent, offering a salary of 35-40K plus 33 days holiday rising with service, pension, profit share and free parking. Working hours are Monday -Thursday 8.00am - 4.30pm and Fridays 8.00am - 3.30pm . As Process Engineer you will drive CI activity within the engineering team, examining the process to identify, develop and implement ideas for cost reduction which could include improved manufacturing processes, optimised design, workflow improvements, labour etc. The successful Process Engineer will be from a manufacturing environment. You will ideally hold a recognised qualification in an engineering, production or manufacturing related subject. Experience of working in a fast moving manufacturing environment is essential with excellent analytical problem solving skills and a good understanding and proven ability of employing lean methodology. It is essential that you have experience in AutoCAD 2D and a background in ceramics / pottery would be advantageous. Flexibility is essential for the role as some travel may be required.
